Taylormade RSi irons

Ohhh the new shines are TMs after all :D

I watched the RSi video last night with a robot hitting them out the heal and toe... I have to say, I was impressed.

Yep, they are TM's (RSi's).

The video by Rick Shiels is much better.

Very good reviews all round, and you will see if you watch it, it wasn't all about distance.
This was a better test I felt than the "robot" one.

They are nowhere near as clunky as I was expecting them to be. Very nice looking club, and you really don't notice the face slots at address.

yeah, have to admit the name puzzled me a bit as well! All I know is that I promise you'll love them - just try them at your local range, and take your credit card with you cos they are fantastic. For me the thing I like best is the sound they make when you cream one.

The thing I like is how much you like them!! TM clearly know there target audience.

I wonder who recommended them to you.

Mind you if they are rubbish it is nowt to do with me.:D

Waivering Alex.:ooo: the RSi2's do look lovely and I definitely need more forgiving at the moment.;) Never been a TM fan, but credit where credit is due they are lovely clubs.

I am going to say credit where its due too... TM made something and promised it was more forgiving and the same length... Something actually useful to golfers. RSi2 is where I would go too. Bit less offset and meat.

Well, mine arrived today and I've had a "waggle" with them this evening.
Feel so much more "alive" than my Pings, and just bouncing a ball on the face of the 7 iron sees it reacting a heck of a lot more than it does off the i25's.
Put one down behind the ball and they look great.
Shafts feel superb.
I'll let you know how I get on with them tomorrow evening
;)

Hope they go well Rob.

Graphite shafts will give you extra distance when you throw them after a bad shot.

Which ones Smiffy?

I've watched a lot of the videos and have to say I could be wavering away from my beloved Mizuno's :o

Thanks Homer. Playing today at West Hove. Not ideal weather (wet/windy/cold) so not conducive to good scoring but will post my "thoughts" later.

Played absolute crap. And when I mean crap, I mean with a capital C.
The only good thing about it (I suppose) is that Ray Taylor, who has been playing out of his boots lately and had 41 points on Saturday, actually scored 1 point less than me!
James won the money with 30 points, so that shows you how bad the rest of us played.
Even "Mr Smooth" Greg Lindley only had 27 points!!
Just to show how bad it was...two weeks ago I hit my drive down the 1st and nearly canned my 9 iron second shot for an eagle.
Yesterday? Driver, 3 wood, 7 iron and still came up short. It was horrible. Any chance of a nice smooth swing (if I possess such a thing) went out of the window. Not a good day to be trying out new clubs.
Oh well, there's always Monday

Crap/tough weather never really going to be an ideal introduction to the new bats so I'd not worry too much and see what happens next time out. Sounds brutal out there
