Never one to believe the hype, but having come into a few quid from the tax man, I decided to splash out on the new tm irons. Could have had 2 weeks in the sun for what I paid, but all I can say is WOW!!!
if u ca n afford them, buy them, if u can't afford them, buy them. I can't afford them, but am still delighted I did. Just hide the credit card bill from the wife and buy some. You won't regret the bollicking, I promise.

Looks - very classy. The shape and size gives you great confidence, and you feel like you're gonna hit a nice shot. They look and behave like a premium product, and make u feel at ease, and in love with the game.

Length - at least 6% longer than the Adams V tech irons. My PW flies around 120 without smashing it, and the ball flight is so true I feel I have a chance of getting down in 2 when I have the club in my hand.
Its hard to hit a bad shot with 8,9, PW - u really do have to mess it up for it not to end up in good nick.

Accuracy - ball flight looks stronger than normal clubs, and more powerful. The ball seems to launch higher, and stay in the air for ever.

Miss hits act better off the club, and even though u can feel it when u thin it, the ball still flies straight. I reckon u lose 10% distance. But it still leaves the ball playable and in decent shape - you're playing partner will think you've hit a good shot, even when u haven't if they are standing a few yards away from u when u hit your shot.

Sound - the ball makes a very pleasant sound when u hit a good shot. Golfers will like this. It makes u feel good about life, and gives u a little buzz every time u nail one.......

All in all, I couldn't be more impressed. I love them, and feel they are worth at least 5 shots per round to someone at my level.

Mark - bit naive to this, so don't know if you're taking the pis but for me who plays of 25, I'm happy with that! I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, so as u ask, I was carrying my 7 iron about 160 tonight with these clubs. Don't know whether that's long or short, but feels long to me!!!

7i 160 is well respectable although in "forum" distances you'll soon realise everyone has different views.

Yes, got extra layer of tape, and bent 1 degree up. I'll let u know my progress with them, but I just know I will come down quickly. They're a game changer. I've been playing for 5 months, and I reckon these are worth at least 5 shots for me.

It looks like they fly pretty much the same as the Callaway X2Hot irons. The 7 iron is 168 yards roll out for me in the summer, the p/wedge 127 ave

I've got the Calloway x2 hot driver, 3 wood and hybrid and I love them as well. I bought them about 3 weeks ago as soon as they came down in price. The driver flies about 240 for me on a good hit.

I have the driver and 3 hybrid too and get good figures from them

yeah, have to admit the name puzzled me a bit as well! All I know is that I promise you'll love them - just try them at your local range, and take your credit card with you cos they are fantastic. For me the thing I like best is the sound they make when you cream one.
