I've been in the market for a new set of irons for a while and came across these on Clubhouse Golf for £399 (with sand wedge - £50 less without):

I'm after a game improvement model with stronger lofts than my 8-10 year old current set and these seem to tick a lot of boxes and come at a great price.
Anybody had any personal experience of these clubs?

A couple of people I know said they felt a bit 'clunky' to hit, which doesn't put me off too much as that could always just be a personal feeling.
Considering they are around 50% cheaper than newer models am I likely to better off with these rather than spending so much more for very little gain with a newer model?

I thought M2s were the ones where quite a few people complained of the iron faces collapsing and having to get replacements for them. Don't know if they sorted that out though.

I have personally never rated any TM irons until recently, p7XX range.

Would you buy used? Much better savings there if not getting fit.

I'd prefer not to buy used, but that's just from previous experience.

If I did go down that route, what sort of ranges should I be looking at?
