Anyone that has got an M1, have you noticed much difference when you play around with the settings? I tried one quickly in AG the other week and on the standard settings it was very close to my Titleist 910 (actually a fraction shorter).

Just wondered if with a bit of tweaking I'd see much difference?

Yeah. For me, moving the weight from the front to the back does help me get the ball in the air more. I haven't moved the draw/fade bias weight that much.

Yes for me, more the face angle than anything else but a little of all of it. I have it set wide open, when I close it it (add loft) I get more spin. The front to back weight is more like 3-500 rpm so very much a tweak and the side to side weight... its hard to say. I was fitted with it way out in the toe to avoid the slinging draw. I thought the flight had got a little straight and maybe even a little right so I put it back to a more neutral setting. I went back to hooking so moved it back to the toe. But lets face it, that is far more about swing path.

Bottom line is, yes, I get get more performace, mainly less spin from the loft, a little from the weight and a little from the shaft.

Alex, Merv told me you set yours up on a launch monitor? Was that part of your fitting or did you pay extra for that?

Thanks also for the reply Karl

Part of my fitting. 9.5 set to 8.5 to open the face, back weight set all the way forward to lower spin and side weight set in the toe. I have however been on GC2 and moved it all about to see the extent of what it can do for interests sake. It is though all set back to the fitters specs. I just could not help playing.

I've increased the loft on mine as
It was coming out a little low for my eye. In hindsight I should probably got a 9.5 rather than 8.5 so that the head didn't close slightly when tweaking the loft upwards

Very limited difference moving the draw/fade weight.

I would say that unless your bombing it there would be limited difference from any of the weights the ball just isn't in the air Long enough.
