With the new SLDR drivers etc coming out it got me thinking.

The JetSpeed really seems to have gone under the radar, American Golf is selling the for a knock down price of £170and most other places are the same price with free balls.

It seems that the JetSpeed has been forgotten about has anyone hit one / bought one and what was / is it like?

Looking online it appears to get quite good reviews etc but I have never seen or heard anyone thinking about / owning one.

Hit one from some chap on our practice ground yesterday (he was fully TM'd with new shinies). Solid and for me the best TM model I've tried. Not sure it offered me anything more than my G25 but as functional as a lot of others out there. The price would seem to make it competitive. Where does that come in against something like the BB

The driver is ok - maybe as good as the burner was

But the Hybrids and Fairway woods are pretty good - think they are better than the SLDR hybrids and F/W

I have one, when I middle it it's a monster , deffo gained 10-15 yards , but I have to say it's very light which helps my club head speed but also helps me put some **** swings in

To be honest other than the Optiforce by Cally I cannot remember a product launch that went so much under the radar

Sounds like the world of Mizuno woods. Under the radar is an understatement really - more like with a cloaking device and radar reflective paint applied. I seriously doubt Mizuno themselves know any more about their product launch than Joe Public. The demise of the MP line of woods is one of the mysteries of the decade - as is their inability to secure a spot in staff players bags (maybe with the exception of Chris Wood for about 6 months). Shame really, I thought they were pretty decent.

Have to agree with this, play with a guy who has a JPX driver and hit's it a country mile it makes a cracking sound too when he hits it.

With the JetSpeed I think it looks much better than the SLDR too

I tested the jetspeed and sldr at the same time and bough the sldr. The stock shaft on the jetspeed (for me) was an absolute dog... it felt like the head was attached with a piece of cooked spaghetti. Hated it with an absolute passion.

I hit it last week alongside a SDLR and found it dull off the face and the sdlr a whole lot better. Which is strange as the RBZ was so got off the face with similiar technology.

lot said it was the 09 burner with a rbz shaft....

I loved my 09 burner but shaft was pishhhhhh, I wonder what a jetspeed with a Motore would go like ...........
