about a year ago I purchased full TM gear (I always prefer to have everything of the same brand). I have a TM superfast rescue and last week I took it out the bag and the shaft had snapped(no fault of mine)!!!! I took it back to my local TM dealer and he said £60 for a new shaft!!! I called up TM and explained what happend and they were having non of it. I have a club which is not worth anything and even after spending £60 I would be lucky to get back £45!!!!

You broke it, it did not break when you hit it so its not there problem.

If you like the club get a reshaft, its not about money.

On a seperate post you mentioned that you are a club chucker. This is what happens when you abuse your stuff. It doesn't necessarily break at the time.

Be careful with the broken ends, graphite gives nasty splinters.

i hope i have better luck with my R9. i hit a ball durring a lesson on put a ball shaped crator in the face. the club is on its way to them now awaiting a discision. fingers crossed

That has to be a fake? the face dented? I dont think you could do that to a real club?!

I too have an R9, admittedley not from DG and have had no such issues. If inside it's warranty, you should get a new one, no questions asked IMO.

i called tm before it was sent and they have no R9 super tri heads left. thay said replacement would be R11.

In my experience Taylor Made have very good after sales service.I know several of instance's where friends have had clubs replaced,(and usually upgraded if the club is out of stock)when there has been a breakage during normal use.
On the subject of the driver face collapsing,i had a Callaway HawkEye Driver that had the face collapse, and the club pro had the face crack on his 905.Very rare, but it does sometimes happen.

Ask for your money back!! :D :D

I've had TM burner rescue clubs for 3 years now,and to me
there one of the better rescue clubs around, you can hit them from anywhere, and nothing spoils them, unless you abuse
them..then the doda hits the fan..

the club has not come out the bag for weeks. hardly use it. I prefer the 4 iron.

You would have thought he would rather lob the bybrid too though right?! :D

Nah, why would you throw a perfectly good hybrid when they are so perfect and never miss? :D anyone want to 'lend' me one to see if it goes further than a 4 iron, I'l even chuck it from the rough which is supposedly where it works perfectly from.
