Hi everyone,

Just thought I would return some further feedback on the driver GM sent me.

Been practising with it at the range for a while, was inconsistent to begin with but starting to feel comfortable with it in my hands and playing with it for the 1st time saturday.

I have had to learn to swing harder with this being the TP model. The club really punishes swings that are too slow with either poor distance or very wayward shots.

In terms of distance, this simply is the most powerful driver I have ever hit. In the hands of my pros it is an absolute animal, so much so that Ben has said he will buy one. For me it is long and gives a nice ball flight, now I am used to the club the flight is more like my old higher flight as opposed to the piercing flight I was enjoying before, as a result of this being like my old ball flight it has increased my confidence with the club.

If any of you big hitters get a chance, give this club a try.

Is it a good thing that you have to swing harder with it? doesnt that make you lose any consistency when going back to hit an Iron for instance.
I know what you mean by that. I tried an HS9 at centregolf i didnt like it. the shaft felt really heavy and you really did have to spank it! I wanted to try some more drivers, but after sundays game im happy with mine!
Glad you got your confidence back jon! where you playing this weekend?

Different rules again, MVP. I don't think winter medals count as qualifiers for next season at my club, but then we would aqualungs for the back nine.

Just bought the Burner TP with Stiff 50g shaft and 9.5 deg.
Previous had Titleist D1 with Reg Proto-by-you aldila shaft and 9.5 deg.
Previous to that had superquad with reg shaft and 10.5 deg.

Hut the superquad dead straight but with too much backspin and lost about 20 yard.
Found the D1 longer (custom fitted) but inconsistent.

Now have used the Burner TP for one round and it is AWESOME... I think the stiff 50g shaft is similar to a custom reg shaft as my swingspeed is 100 mph which is between reg and stiff ideals.

Didn't like the MWT in the superquad, hut it best when set up on high ball flight (weights at the back) hence how I went to the triangle D1.

Prefer the Burner TP look. Thoroughly recommend it.
