Anyone here use TalkTalk for calls, broadband line rental and you view tv.

I'm thinking of ditching sky and changing to them although some online reviews has been pretty poor. Any one have any issues with them?

Not me, 2 mates been with them and now away. Poor service apparently.

I moved away from them, to Virgin, late last year. Appalling broadband speed and the most aggressive tele-sales marketing team known to man. Avoid!

Im on talktalk, moved to them about 3 years ago from |Orange as the package was good value AND on the basis that im a PC engineer and therefore can troubleshoot lots of issues and get past the first tech support guys easily and onto the guys who actually know what they are doing, If i was a punter, id pass on by

Their tech support is appalling, its fine until you have a problem, then you hit a wall

Im hoping to move to sky, just need to convince the boss

i ditched sky tv for membership at bogside, home broadband is free with my orange mobile(for newbies its a fiver) which i had to recently take my home phone with, for telly i watch freesat with a recorder.
i really dont miss sky freesat is fine

Back to the drawing board I think with these reviews. Maybe just ditch the sky tv and keep calls, broadband, and rental and look at the you view tv from somewhere else.

you view is dependant on you having a good aerial reception and a decent broadband speed,
cancel sky buy new clubs buy the wife fifty shades of grey, its a win win situation

Talk talk are shocking! I left them after a couple of weeks!

I've been with them for the last year and not had any problems, not had to ring any support or anything though.

I'll renew in a few months time.

I don't have good TV reception either so use Freesat which runs off the Sky dish, one off cost for a box and then no monthly charges.

I was with Tiscali and had a great Internet and phone package with them. Talk Talk took them over and tried hard to get me to change to their packages which were more expensive, I had a lot of hard sell for a while trying to get me to 'Upgrade' to their standard packages which were inferior to my original Tiscali. They seem to have given up now so I retain free internet, free UK calls evenings and weekends and standard telephone line rental.
