I changed all my Grips in haste earlier this year, for some Gripmaster leather ones, and havent really ever got to fully like them, so want to change back to rubber etc.

Multitude of choice however,......do I go for standard Golf Pride Tour Velvet, or Multicompound, or even Lamkin Crosslines ??

I like a soft feel, and perhaps dont need to go for Cord etc......

What do u all use ?

Thx

I regripped all my irons a while back I used the Lamkin grips, bog standard for the 4 to 9 but I put corded on the wedges.

I the multi-compound Golf Pride ones go smooth very quick or so I was told, so hence why I put on the Lamkin, for which I have no complaints at all.

Cheers
Dave

Tour velvet are my choice. I play and practice a lot and they are pretty long wearing although I do clean them regularly. I had some Golf Pride patriot but found these multi compund ones wore very quickly in comparison

Lamkin crossline in red here on all my irons and wedges, love em, not mega tacky like some others friends have (winn and sharpro) but great and no probs in the wet either so far.

I re-gripped mine with Black Widow Edge. They're the tackiest softest rubber grips I've ever stuck my mitts on, but they feel a little thinner than Tour Velvet (although that might be in my head).

*cough* *cough*

HID-gate????

:D

I got some multi compounds on my mp53s when custom fit, not only did I not like the feel but they ripped my hands to shreds.
I eventually put golf pride V 55's on, much better
