Only player to break par did it with an eagle at the last. One player level par, and only one player one over. Just shows a course doesn't have to be long to be difficult. Less than 6200 yards par 69.

The only golfer to break handicap was a plus 1 player, who eagled our last hole, par 4 for two under (three under gross) Not a bad way to win a competition. One player was level handicap. Played the course today, same tees, pin positions, and it was not tricked up. Perhaps the heat got to everyone, but just shows that hard fast course, with drives going miles is not necessarily easier.

Is the prize too big to post?

We had the same on Saturday, only one person made par or better. An 83 year old 28 handicapper who was 4 shots clear of the runner up.
