Did you not think to declare your ball unplayable taking a penalty and play 3 of the tee might have saved your score a bit.

Had my first ever 10 today, happened on our 1st hole too, what a start.

Since playing more than 3 times a year i've never had one...and even then, i cant remember all the way back to recall ever getting one when i never used to play very much either.

Just checked back on SS2 and not had a 10. A few 9's though. I guess my day will come (it's kinda inevitable) but the way I see it, if the pros can ocassionally rack up the 8's 9's and odd 10 then there is no shame in it happening to us. I know a Ascot member who took 13 on our par 3 1st in a medal not so long ago.

I had a ten on Friday morning, topped tee shot, topped 3 wood, another topped 3 wood, then a hybrid to the left of the green, chip through the green, chip back and then 4 putts.

Awesome.

I've also had a 13 during a medal which involved 3 lost balls.
