Why is it that i got an infraction for using astericks and the post was removed but i see it all the time on here and posts remain ?

What about us that asterisk out mild, probably even acceptable or to the majority just incase there is someone more sensitive reading. I know I do this so I dont offend anyone and it usually gets the message across better than some specific word.

I even use it for acceptable words too to make a point etc like "$h@nk"

That does not answer my question though does it ? i am not asking WHY i am not allowed to do this BUT why others are not given the same restraints that i am.

It's difficult to say Sydney as there is no context around what was said or "how".
As pointed out, probability is that it was reported whereas others aren't but again why that would be would depend on what was said in what context.

Because we (as mods) can't check every single post. Those that get spotted or reported get dealt with.
