I said back in November that we'd go down and I was proved correct!

The only saving grace is that that big club from up t'road has come down with us and I find it hilarious....who'd have thought eh? The self proclaimed 8th biggest club in the world in the pepsi league :D

I watched a bit of the Newcastle game and they were a inept, unadventurous and quite frankly woeful. Eve with 15 minutes left and nothing to lose they played with no heart and created nothing and if I was a Toon fan I'd have been sickened by their lack of passion

As a Fulham fan I'm greatly disturbed by our qualification into the Europa League as we have decent but small squad and as far as I'm aware there isn't a significant budget for transfers and wages to add significantly over and abour the usual buying and selling that comes with building and maintaining a team.

The only saving grace as far as I can see is that we are only in the qualification round (same as Arsenal etc had to qualify to get into the Chamions League proper) and that we may get a top side from Germany, Italy or Spain and get knocked out. I really don't want us to get through aspotentially it could add about 12-16 games onto the season ad we don't have the squad. I'd rather have another year of premier league survival than get through a few European games and get knocked out. Lets face it we aren't good enough to win it.

Newcastle need to get their ship in order, the club appears to be in a mess with players taking large salaries and offering little in return.

The downside is that the title next year will be fought for by the same 4 teams and teams like Newcastle, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday that have the potential to compete at the highest level are languishing in lower leagues.

I like to see the biggest teams and by that I mean the ones with the largest crowds and biggest stadiums in the premiership and Newcastle are one of those.

I think deluded Newcastle fans will expect a quick return to the top league but the Championship is blood and thunder 100mph stuff and a very tough league to get out of. They could be down for a while.

Middlesborough are just dull and boring, always have been. They wont be missed a bit like Coventry City aren't missed.

As a Baggies fan I feel that we deserved to go down, but am absolutely amazed that a Sunday league, kick & rush bunch of thugs like Stoke stayed up.

I'm not happy that Newcastle & Boro came with us as obviously there are only two automatic spots up for grabs in the fizzy pop league, but lets see who they get rid of, we're financially sound and dont need to get rid of anyone.

And who is it that you support?

Aberdeen ;) Mind you I havent been to a game since 1991!
Sorry if that offended, Boro just always seem to make up the numbers in the lower half of the table. Whenever they come on MOTD I just fall asleep.

Well I hope Aberdeen go into administration soon :p

Boro get unfairly picked on half the time, yes this season we've been crap and we've been devoid of a proper striker, but look at what we did a few seasons back when we had a proper strike force!

Dont think we're boring, we're just under staffed :(

Dont think he has a choice to be honest.

He's out for upto 6 months allegedly, by the time he's back playing nobody will want him til he proves himself again, which means he's probably going to help us to the fizzy pop title.

Then leave in the summer.

I can see Newcastle imploding to be honest!

Boro have done what we've done this season with a lot of youth, and most of this youth will be with us next season and good enough to get us promoted.

newcastle have a team full of "stars" or prima doners as it is and they will all leave like rats off a sinking ship!!

I really hope the jawdees do a Leeds :D
