I had a go with my pro's Sky caddy 5 (top of the range one) and it was pretty good. Only got to play 5 holes before thunder and lightining descended and the hooter went.

Was pretty impressed and felt it gave me the confidence over the shot knowing I had the right club especially when I hit a couple offline. I even marked one of my drives and used the distance hit facility (the drive was 256 yards - not bad for me).

I think if I was going to get one I'd go for the 2.5 version (black and white). I would dearly love to see a full review by the magazine (MikeH or Jezz please make this happen there is obviously a latent market for these).

Might wait a bit and see what comes onto the market by June (birthday time) and make a decision then.
