Sure hope the MET is correct

Today was nice and sunny, and the first time in ages that my course had 18 holes in play.
And it was also the first day in ages that prior commitments meant I absolutely could not play. Gutted 😭

Similar problem... My mate could only play on Sunday so I arranged to play with him then (we normally play on Saturdays). Wife plans whole weekend around that. So I guess I'm playing in the pouring rain tomorrow.. joy.

Whew!....18 holes.....nothing open around here.
Same here. The two links courses are open, Seaton and Cleveland, everything else is closed.

Our head greenkeeper sent an email out a couple of days ago predicting no golf next week and possibly until the end of the month. But, the snow forecast for last night didn't materialise and besides a bit of rain this afternoon the next two days are forecast for sun, so fingers crossed for Tuesday.

We're much the same down here. Unfortunately, it does make me question whether my fairly pricey membership is worth the money. The club aren't to blame, but I really mean it from a practicality point of view. Right now I'm paying approximately £150 a month for nothing.

Come the Summer I'm sure I'll feel differently :)

Course is open today after a dry Saturday. But rain lashing against the windows this morning was enough to make me roll over and stay in bed. Cold, windy, wet. Miserable

Just walked the dogs on the local park. It's saturated. Golf courses will be the same - ours is shut anyway and Huddersfield is closed due to snow.

Off to look at a car and hopefully pick up the boy a pair of footjoys for his birthday tomorrow, the golf can wait for better weather.

we had 13 holes open on temporary greens yesterday after being closed most of the week, I played and the fairways were pretty decent although the rough areas had a lot of water. 13 holes today too with some main greens. The forecast looks reasonable for the next couple of days before changing again midweek. It is still february though so this as to be expected.
