Yes - as long as you've informed the Committee/Club that you're putting one in before you go out and the overall shortening of the course is 100 yards or less.
How short of the normal green is the temp..?

Thanks
Have just had 2 rounds this past week one a 86 other one 89 off 21h/c I could have got a cut then if I informed the committtee before I went out.

The temp. tee is on a long par 4, 451 yards so at a guess its around the 400 yard mark from tee to green.

Your club should have a system in place for members to to record their intention to play a Supplementary Scores round in advance of play - often a register held in the proshop. If you register intent to play a Supplementary and then fail to submit the card, you still go up 0.1!
