Before you start on the cheese and bics, and it's Sunday so no need for slo cooker, what's the best Sunday roast to come home to after you've had a good 18 holes and a pint in the bar? Mine is currently roast chicken, with roast tatties and parsnips, plenty of veg and HID's home made gravy.

I love roast pork and crackling but my wife hates it so I lose. Of the ones that are actually likely, lamb, roasties, peas, carrots and loads of thick gravy. None of this jus nonsense. Roast dinners are best when simple.

None!

Really never have seen the attraction of the traditional Sunday roast.

Very nice, but I do like a bit of redcurrant jus with lamb.

I do like mushy peas with a roast, throwback to my youth, but it rarely happens now. I need to be more forceful in my own home, as long as my wife doesn't mind of course.

I'd go for brisket with some roasties, veg, gravy and a wee bit of mash, cooked by my mam!

Love a wee bit of brisket when it's cooked properly. Delicious.

Roast leg of Lamb......tough choice when they are running around in front of my lounge window.
Roast Tatties, carrot, swede and parsnip. half a dozen sprouts or some kale and bramble gravy.
With a glass of Broughton's Old Jock at my side.

Pork Belly with a deep layer of crackling on top. But I do like a good beer butt chicken, but it has to be a quality chicken, none of the water filled stuff you get in most supermarkets.

Always best to leave it until the Monday, and throw the lot in the frying pan (excluding meat) with a bit of pepper and brown sauce to garnish. No gravy.

Yep, roast pork with a plenty of crackling is the best! My mum chucks in little cocktail sausages as well, nice!
