If its a really good bit of beef, I'll have beef. But, IMO, good beef is rare - no pun intended. After that, its got to be lamb. Not too fussed after that.

Bizarrely, if you give me a plate of decent veg, mash, turnip, parsnips & cabbage and peas I'll be happy. No roast tayto's, horrible things!!

Roast Lamb, roast Tatties in duck fat that are very crispy, roast parsnips coated in maple syrup, soy sauce and honey with veg.

Bottle or 2 of red to wash it down

Roast topside of beef, medium rare. Honey roasted carrots, parsnips, rosemary and garlic roast potatoes, homemade yorkies, and sprouts. Finished off by HID's homemade apple and blackberry crumble and custard. Heaven

1)Rack of lamb, pink in the middle, crispy roasties cooked in goose fat, selected veg and a thick minty gravy.
2)Rioja
3)Apple crumble (hot) and custard (cold).
4)Cheeseboard and biscuits (see other thread)
5)More rioja.
6) Repeat steps 5 and 6 until full and drunk

Lambs hearts, if cooked to perfection. Winter roasted veg selection.

Cauliflower cheese.

Moved on a lot since Goblin hamburgers in the 1970's.
