Sun Mountain H2NO Ultra Lite competition

You can take your bag directly to your ball. This means you sit it down near your ball and pull a club out.

Since you only take one club out you are less likely to loose it :whoo:.

(prompted from a different thread)
Some people park the trolley and walk 30 yards (etc) with 2 clubs, put one down and leave it.

I like to carry to irritate HID. I can moan at him for contributing to slow play whilst he pushes his trolley and annoy him with the clatter of my irons as I walk straight to my ball. Gives me more chance to beat him when we play matchplay;)

For the simple reason that I can continue to extol the virtues of Sun Mountain , their products and their customer care as I have done in many occasions on here in the past ... ;)

Pushing a trolley makes me feel like im having a stroll with a pram .....carrying a bag makes me feel like a golfer.

The benefit of carrying is that I get fitter, I can go anywhere on the course (that's allowed) - a major bounus as I tend to be a bit wild, carrying keeps me warm on a cold day and most importantly carrying makes me enjoy my game more!

I carry to counterweight against my belly to stop be falling flat on my face. Its like a counterbalanced human!

***Warning - Off Topic Post Alert

Wish I'd known you played at Colne Valley this time last week as I would've tried to arrange a game. Just had a few days down at The Essex, not specifically to play golf but mainly because I got a great deal on the room and my boys wanted to go to Colchester Zoo. Had a sentimental visit to The Lion as well as the last time I was there was for my late Granddad's 70th birthday party 24 years ago. Also used to be down there every year for the Earls Colne v Old Colonians cricket match (my dad went to Earls Colne Grammar School) and once played your course in an Old Colonians golf day.

you can generally take a carry bag in the woods when you hit it in after a 40 yard slice off the tee!! carrying also means more than 2 of you can squeeze in a car when traveling to the club!

If I was Sun Mountain giving away a bag I would want a fair bit of fanfare. This thread has gone amazingly quiet.
