So, putt A comes to rest, some time before its marked and lifted it blows into the hole then I have holed out with putt A?That is just not true. The 10 seconds noted in the Rules is only applicable if your ball is overhanging the lip of the hole. If the ball is not overhanging, 10 seconds is irrelevant.
With the wind as we get it here on Anglesey, it can be prudent to mark and lift, or sometimes, don't in the hope that it'll end up closer to the hole before putt B!
