I finally played under my hndicap yesterday. First time in about a year. But it was a weird round.
My playing partner had the shanks for 4 consecutive holes but still played to his handicap of 12.
I played to 7 despite not striking the ball well and a double bogey and a quadruple bogey. I also only hit 4 fairways. But for once I putted really well and only had 29 putts (a miracle for me).
So why is it that you can score well when playing not at your best and visa versa???
It really is a strange sport!!
