After finishing my sixth round since i come back to the game I left the golf course still feeling a little disgruntled, dont get me wrong it is slowly coming back but im still hitting the occasional top or thin. I expected that in my first two rounds back, but not in the sixth. My swing feels quite good and im working on taking a slower backswing to improve my timing and tempo, its frustrating when your swinging well and not getting the results. Anybody else had the same problem?

Have a couple of lessons dude, get the fundamentals correct again and it'll soon enough come flooding back!

Dude don't beat yourself up about it! It happens! I played my local course yesterday and hit 73 3 over par off a 10 handicap then today hit a 83! Was thinning irons ,hooking driver the lot but instead of feeling frustrated just took the positive out of the negative and took a hour on practice ground afterwards and mentally tried to replay the bad shots to try and oust the demons from my head! It worked, went home feeling better and got rid of all negative thoughts instead of carring them in your head into your next round, which we all do i think.

yeah your right, i mean i have hit some good shots amongst the poor one's, plus i was playing with a 10 handicapp last week and he shot in the 90's, suppose it happens to the best of us.
