Stiff soled shoes with wide toe box?

I've been diagnosed with Hallux Rigidus - arthritis in the big toe and I need to try and wear shoes with a stiff sole and wide toe. Does anyone have a similar problem and got any recommendations?

They do a lot of different width golf shoes.
Just Google Fitville shoes.
I have several pairs and are the best golf shoes for comfort.
They do lots of things got my work boots and trainers there.

For decades I bought 9.5s sometimes 10s, then a couple of years back I had a proper FJ fitting and discovered I am 8EW or 8.5W. I’d been buying too big to accommodate my width (which I didn’t know about). Bigger shoe gave more width but upper and sole would often split atvthe main flex point. Now I know. I have since bought two pairs of FJs to my size, and have never had more comfortable shoes.

I would have suggested Footjoy too. Don't ECCO do some specialised shoes as well?
