I think Sandy will do well on the Champions Tour. Great distance of the tee, longer than all of them, except Woods??!!

Sandy is still 300-1 (not sure what odds before 1st round- prob 1000-1 or higher). But maybe still worth couple quid each way??

How much bearing would a good performance in the Masters have on the Rider cup team? Not sure how it works but could someone almost asure their place with a top 10 finish or do the majors not carry that much weight.

Your stats were interesting but I think they have to be interpreted. Poulter hit a lot of greens, more than Rose. Poulter still took 71 and Rose 68. Poulter must have putted poorly or was hitting greens miles from the flag.

Shanker,

You are correct, interpretation is required. Poulter hit 16/18 greens, which is fantastic, but had 31 putts in 17 holes (no putts at his hole in one hole) which is less good.
