Stack and tilt lessons?

I know RGDave was looking into this a while back and in the end I think he went back to normal methods. I'm not sure there are many teaching pros that are advocates of the method but if its working for you then I guess stuck with it.

Out of interest why are you looking into this method as opposed to the more traditional swing techniques
If you read this thread:
http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk//showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/147056/an/0/page/0#147056
It will detail my problem. Anyway I couldn't find a way around it until someone mentioned Stack and tilt. So I downloaded the videos and gave it a try today.
It does seem to be the answer as I was stable as a rock on my follow through using that method.
But I need it tweaking as I lost alot of distance, and you can only glean so much from videos.

I have played stack and tilt for the past 4 months, one thing it does require is for you to put a heap of weight onto your left leg, your vid showed that you feel a tendancy to fall forward when weight is transfered to your left side, that is why I didn't/wouldn't suggest you try it.

You'd get nothing more out of it (or less perhaps) than improving the swing you currently have.

What are you like swinging a club when you stand only on your left leg?

I think SAT is on the way out on Tour. Baddeley and Weir appear to have moved away from the SAT gurus, and as a swing suitable only for highly capable players, I think most Ams should steer clear.
