Have a look on this link, i was pointed that way by a gardener who uses them for business use. They also do a good selection of overseed, we struggle with the bottom of our garden due to shade and their shady seed was great last year.

After applying the moss killer give it a couple of days and then mow it on a high setting. Mow a few more times reducing the height gradually.
When it is warm and dry, mow it on very low. Scarify the lawn (but not too aggressively) and then raise the mowing height to normal.
It will then be ready for a feed.

Just did an easy scarify on the front lawn today in the house we moved into in the Fall. Highest setting.....plenty of moss. I'll wait a couple of weeks at least before putting the setting lower and really zapping things. Seed the grass after that. I have some iron sulphate sitting around somewhere.......

Get the moss killer done asap, certainly before seeding.

Got some ferrous sulphate , what strength do I make itr up to spray.

Pot only specifies two strengths for greening or strengthening, does not mention moss removal.

Powder.
Pro Kleen.
Neighbour had a few spares pots.
I recommend 4gm/litre per square metre for moss treatment.
The tub will suggest 2 or 3 but that is only ok for greening up the grass.
Watering can or sprayer. If using a sprayer, make sure it is well mixed o/w the sprayer may (but shouldn't) get blocked.

Sprayed some Iron Sulphate on the front lawn today....I guess you are supposed to put 5-10g per litre in .....so I just put a couple of handfulls into a 5L sprayer. I never measure anything...too lazy.

Yup did mine yesterday with miracle grow Moss kill. Be ready for a scarify in a few weeks.

Sprayed the lawns yesterday, can see the moss turning brown in patches already 👍
If you plan to scarify make sure the ground is dry. Otherwise there is a danger the grass roots may be torn out. Beforehand cut it very low for that cut only. Raise it afterwards and gradually reduce.
