Went into the shed today and the wooden internal roof was damp in places, I took time to scrap the moss of the roof to inspect the felt, it looked.to be intact and none of the seams had lifted.
So as a quick fix until the spring is it possible to reproof it ?

Not really, once tar based felt perishes that’s pretty much it.
I replaced mine with EPDM last year, much better.

I used a commercial reproofing paint on 9 year old roofing felt last year. It worked after two coats, but I suspect that another coat will be needed this year.

If you are going to be up their painting why not be up there replacing the felt. Last time I did mine I just put new felt over the top of the old felt

or just put in a repair patch (remembering to put on a sealer first).
