Despite the strong No Easterly wind I was a bit taken back by the number of players in shorts today.

There was me in a cord trousers and 3 layers on the upper half.

I played in shorts yesterday and did attract a few strange glances, which I thought odd as I do have magnificent legs!!

Definitely not spring here. Thermal trousers under golf trousers. Skin, polo shirt, lined sweater, windproof top, neck warmer and a hat.

Fabulous to get out on the course though ?

Seaton Carew was typically blustery this morning - had. very similar attire.

Though it did warm up enough that I could take off one layer leaving the 17th green.

Didn't see anyone in shorts. ;))

Full winter layering for me today.
Thought it was the equinox today, but because of the leap year it was yesterday. So in a way it's some sort of summer... It's actually gonna be the longest stretch of cold nights that we've had all winter for the next few days.

Possibly those people saw the temperature and the sunshine when dressing for golf. And then regretted it when out on the course.
