But you can take painkillers with ibruprofen
Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory - it is a pain killer and reduces inflammation. You can take it with other pain killers eg paracetamol.
But not recommended to take alongside other similar drugs like naproxen.
I reIterate what I said earlier - speak to a pharmacist about pain relief.
Especially if you take any other medication or have a medical condition.

You’ve both missed the point.

It is perfectly fine to take Codeine & Naproxen at the same time.

When you say "both", are you referring to me? I haven't missed "the point".
I never said you can't take codeine with naproxen.
All I said was that naproxen is better than codeine for dealing with inflammation, and later clarified that it's a painkiller as well as anti-inflammatory.
Of course you can take other painkillers with naproxen - provided it's not another NSAID.

I haven't missed the point. You can take naproxen and codeine together.
However my message is to talk to a medical practitioner before embarking on using over the counter codeine products (eg co-codamol)
I have, during my career, seen many people addicted to codeine.

Physio is pretty certain it's one of the tendons near the ulnar joint that's been irritated. Given me a few exercises to do daily and reckons if I don't do any strenuous activities I should be fine for golf in a couple of weeks. Going in next week as well for a follow up.

A lot of relief! I'll stick to paracetamol for now as it seems to be working. Only shame is I can't really practice before my golf trip, but suppose it's better than not playing at all. Cheers for the help all.
