Team of the year should be Clare Balding and Mark Foster for the Olympics swimming coverage. Brilliant tv (yes, I'm aware I have left out Rebecca Adlington. I try to blank her out and listen to the other two)

There's a female ex-goalkeeper with a NW accent (can't remember if she's a scouser or a Manc) who's an occasional commentator on the radio. She's one of the most interesting and insightful commentator/pundits irrespective of gender. There should be a category for best female football commentator/pundit

Either of the Olympics teams ( which I don’t think should be classed as a team )
Maybe McLaren
They would be the first to win it two years on the bounce as wellWhy not. One hell of a record breaking season.

I'm a bit of a fan of Leanne Crichton on Sportscene - think she's pretty good and as good as, if not better than, most of the blokesThere should be a category for best female football commentator/pundit
You did get that I was not being serious (at all) in my 'shock/horror' that she's not nominated - of course she wasn't going to be.I would estimate that if I walked into a clubhouse on a busy Saturday and gave that description, possibly around 10% of the golfers would know who I was talking about, let alone expecting the general public to have a clue.
