SportsDirect

They got Titleist 909 fairways woods in for 90£ can that be correct? I no the shop very well its in our local town just not sure on this website?

some of the bigger stores like lilywhites (sportsdirects) flagship store has the better stuff in, none of it is knock off

That is sad in itself. Anyone who ever went to Lillywhites will remember it as a top end store for all manner of sporting goods. The golf section even had a PGA qualified pro at one time and it was a fantastic place to wander round. Now it is full of cheap Far Eastern rubbish, is messy, has unhelpful staff and is pandering to day tripping Chavs.

Totally agree Homer.

Me and my friends used to love taking a trip into Nottingham to go to Lillywhites when we were younger. They had everything.

I went in a few years back once it had been taken over by SportsDirect. It was a sad sight :(

Bought my Ping Anser putter from Lillywhites back in mid 70's. Think it was about £18, which was a lot in those days, and kept it in the bag until last year.
