I haven't seen it for a long time but the longest yard was very good.
If you mean the Adam Sandler remake of The Mean Machine, it's not a patch on the original.
Finally got around to watching Invictus... Loved it. Was not a big Springbok supporter, but gave me the goose bumps... Feel for their skip at that time..
I think it gets my vote for one of the better sports related movies out there... Pretty much close to Cool Runnings...

Have to say though that whilst i enjoy the smaltz and melodrama of good american sports film, there are others that have literally had me weeping like a baby.
Million Dollar Baby or the "champ" anyone?
