Well after the crushing disappointment of missing out on the Face of Benross comp I'm going to spoil myself. My birthday is in August so I've got five and a bit months to save up. My putter is going nowhere and neither are my wedges.

It's open season on everything else so here's a run down on what's in the firing line:
- bag (Powakaddy)
- trolley (PK Twinline 3)
- woods (Cleveland Black)
- hybrids (Adams A12)
- irons (Titleist AP1 710)
- clothing not bought myself any for ages
- shoes (FootJoy XPS-1)

So over to you magpies what should go and what should replace it :)

Replace whatever you feel unhappy with

A new driver is always exciting

Replace the lot. You can't take it with you.;)

Whilst I appreciate and love the idea and would love to do it. I'm not sure I've got a money tree in the garden ;) We've just moved home and completely renovated it so can't really justify any expenditure but after the stress of last year I think I can allow myself a birthday treat :)

So if it absolutely could only be one of the above what would you change?

I treated myself to a stewart X series trolley - (went for refub one from factory in Glos with warranty etc so price was approx 50% rrp). Best golf toy I've ever bought. Always gets looks wherever I play (except home course as we're 5 miles up the road from factory and there all over the place at our track as a result!) and I still smile every time using it 2 yrs on.

Only bit of advice I'd give is to go for an X5 or newer with the lithium battery, makes all the difference and alloys on X5 onwards look / perform way better than the X3 or earlier.

No connection with company, just really like the product.

Irons as you will use them more. Driver makes you feel good, but you will only use it a limited number of times during a round, and one day you may fall out with it and go to say a 3 wood. Where as you will always hit your irons so you will get your moneys worth. What about a putter as well? Is your current one not for changing?

When it comes to the trolley and bag, I can recommend the Motocaddy S1 push and Pro cart bag. Treated myself and very impressed so far

Love my putter. When I keep my head still I'm deadly with it. If only I kept my head still more often... Mmm maybe I should get a neck brace ;)
