Anybody else getting the cold shoulder treatment from the wife?

Christ things are colder than Spey Valley in my house at present.

"Golf golf golf" is the current cry, "Machrihanish, London, Aviemore" "never here" "moan moan moan".

The thing is I asked the good lady at the time and as usual its , no no, not a problem it's only a weekend, then........ as it approaches the usual fly digs start getting aimed, "can't believe your away again" "just you go and enjoy yourself, I'll stay in with the kids".

Then the aftermath! If you thought Spey Valley was bad, its minus 24 in here at present!

I just blamed Mike Harris for picking me for the Walton Heath day. :D ;)

Funnily enough today I have washed the bathrooms, including mopping the floors, hoovered, done a washing, second load just about to go on, just about to tidy the kitchen, mop the kitchen floor then start diner! Only because I want to you understand!

Mine was ok mate maybe because i came some sober, Alec only had diet Coke in his car no Strongbow :D :D :D,i'll get the same digs shortly its only 5 weeks till i go to Portstwart for the week, happy days and am looking at my next road trip

Bloody hell Chris!.....5 days away with us lot, you return armed with a fridge magnet for the mrs and you get a "lovely welcome home".

Beginning to think there is more to you than meets the eye! ;)

My missus wasnt too bad considering she was giving off to me on saturday as one of the drains was blocked and I should have been there to clear it.
Home at 12am into monday morning, went to work, came home, emptied the dishwasher and had a bit of a mess around with the 3 daughters and since 7am this morning am sat just south of birmingham and wont be home until tomorrow late evening. If I keep this up she will realise she can cope without me!

Seems I got of lightly then :D

Only had an 12 hour shift laying a new floor in the bathroom on Monday to worry about.

Worth it though ;)

no issues here Craw, mind I did do the domestic bit before I went :D

Welcomed home by missus and pooch last night. she even made a drink for the boys. Can't be owt to do with my other name "tripod" ;)

Got to go with Phil here Chris. If i'd taken the missus a fridge magnet home, i'd have been in the garage

At least the dog was delighted to see me and is as ever my faithful friend.

Man's best friend?

Dam right it is! That's my boy.

I take it you have already told her you are going overseas to work.
