looked at portugal for a time but decided to go back to spain,,,,costa del sol area
looking end september / beginning october
we last did torrequbrada, la cala asia, chapparal and cabopino
for the same kind of money and standard, can anyone name similar courses within the same area

Calanova (especially good value and brilliant clubhouse)
Santana
Marbella Golf & Country Club
Santa Clara

These all fall into a similar bracket to the ones listed and wouldn’t criticise any of them!

In a slightly more expensive bracket, is Los Naranjos which I visited in September and looked glorious.

we stayed in torremilnos and we plan to go back to costa del sol
what other town would you suggest..
we prefer being by the sea, out at night for a few beers ( but not roudy)

Marbella Old Town, or Estepona would fit the brief in that regard. Enjoyed both, with a great choice of bars and restaurants.

Puerto Banus is good fun, but, definitely more lively and considerably more expensive than the other 2.

Anyone done La Hacienda Alcaidesa Links? Thoughts? Pros/Cons?

Looking at doing 4 rounds (2 on each course) Gibraltar airport 20 mins away apparently.
