Another course closing. This time due to the new Thames river crossing.

Played here many times and always enjoyed it despite the fact it was always windy.

Im hoping to get a game in there with a mate, will keep you posted.

It’s a real shame because it’s one of the few relatively cheap courses in the area. It caters to a different market to other courses, it closing is bad for golf in my opinion. I’m sure loads of beginners have had their first rounds of golf there over the years.

I’m intending on getting a game there, with my future SIL and hopefully also with some of my normal swindle, as it is a very different course to most around here and where I play.
