Soundbox

Anyone who knows about these things, can you please recommend a decent budget box. I have a Sony TV and would like to run sky and gaming system through it.

You can probably tell, I ain't got a clue about tech.

Depends what you class as budget but Q Acustics do a fine range that often get recommended in the gadget and hifi mags. I have the M4 and it is really good.

If you mean soundbar rather than soundbox...

After several threads [on here] rating Yamaha 'stuff' I got the bottom of the range YAS93 at £99.99 and have been more than pleased...

Got if for £50 off Gumtree, yes it's massive but it sounds great and has 3 HDMI inputs which should cover all bases.

I’ve got the Sky Soundbox, apparently £700.00 if non Sky customers, £299.00 for Sky HD customers and £249.00 for SkyQ customers.

Very simple set up via HDMI, Optical or Bluetooth gone HDMI to Sky box and Optical to PS3, Bluetooth to Iphone.

Not geeky enough to go in to depth about sound except to say I love it, excellent quality when watching movies and great for football.
