I'm back on board. :D :D :D

Ye gods.....

A couple of weeks off and 250 threads with 2920 posts.

I really can't be ah said to read them.

Have I missed anything worth reading??

Anymore **gates?

Will go onto Howdidido Leftie to check your handicap :D

OK. OK. I'll admit it.

I did sneak out for a round soon after the op. Played a blinding round - that surgeon did a great job. Went round level par. No birdies, no bogies. Just great golf.

Unfortunately, I didn't get cut. I was just about to hand my card in - and woke up from the anesthetic. :o :o

I would like to say a big thanks to all of those who sent good wishes. Much appreciated. :)

Well you could have made an effort to have gotten to the keyboard in the past two weeks, as it happens we've all moved on now and will quite happily just ignore you forever - we're over you now!

Ok... that's not exactly true, we've been wondering how the hell you are and hope the op went well mate :) Good news so it seems? ARE YOU STILL LEFT HANDED? :D

Nice to see you back Rog, what's the plan on the golfing front?

regards
James.

I might have to reconsider membership of the "Dream Team" after a welcome like that .

I did tell Smiffy that I probably wouldn't be posting for a while. I am very much RIGHT HANDED. It's just that I stand round the other way to you cack-handers. Because the op was on the right shoulder it was painful and awkward to use my right hand for 75% of the typing. Unfortunately the right side of my brain and my left hand fingers seem to be missing a link .

Doubt if I will be playing much before Christmas. Talk about going stir crazy. Today was the first time I've driven (a car) in two weeks. I've taken to pounding the pavements for about an hour a day just as an excuse to get out of the house.

Apparently, over the years, I have been compensating for the injury. Now the physio is not only concentrating on getting full strength and movement back but also "re-educating" the posture of the shoulder. All this could mean good or bad news for my "swing". Might have to see the pro to re-educate my swing as well. I've already realised that even my putting set up will be different.

Good to see you back Roger.
Keep up the exercise, have a relaxing Christmas and we should see you back fighting fit in the new year  :D :D

Golfmmad.

Glad to hear you're on the mend.

So your posture is all pucker and pert nowadays ?

Probably not the right time for gags then ?

<font color="pink"> Quasimodo went to see his GP.

The doctor, after examining him, says "I think there's something wrong with your back."

Quasimodo says "What makes you say that?"

The doctor replies "Oh, it's just a hunch."

What ?

Especially the way you are playing!

Nice to hear you are up and about Leftie. Next year you must make the trip north to Watford. I need some stiffer competition.

Thanks guys.

Can't wait to get out on the course again. Maybe we can arrange a get together again in the new year.

There were too many threads to bother reading through but I did have a look at a couple. Tommo's "Bickering Section" had me creased up at times and surely must be one of the best for quite a while.

Obviously I haven't missed much else.
