saw the promotional stuff on the tv today and can't wait. Loved LOTR so I am sure this won't disappoint. I haven't been to the pictures for what seems like aeons.

I won't be going. I loves the LOTR books but found the films to be a bit of a damp squib and not a patch on the written word of Tolkien. Will probably just watch them when they come out on sky movies

Just asked HID when we last went to the pictures and what we saw and neither of us can remember!
Thanks G1BBO, this has sparked a possible revival and we may just go out "together" and see this as we both liked LOTR.

Opened in New Zealand today, lots of fans dressed like travellers with plastic 'spock' ears who 'believe' in the hobbit, the guy from the office is the star, maybe if David Brent made an appearance
