You obviously have enough gear and spare money.
Now, what I suggest is that you invest in a set of S57s, G10 woods and driver a couple of Vokeys, a pair of FJ reelfits and a hoofer bag. If you dont like them, I know someone who will, in exchange for a few lessons ;)

Sadly have no hope of being able to hit a set of S57s, now the Cobra SZ on the other hand......
A G10 5 wood not out the question as due some pro shop vouchers for winning the monthly medal...

Most of my stuff with the exception of the 3 and 5 wood is less than 6 months old. The irons have been the best investment and have made a huge difference in terms of accuracy and length. My new driver is a freebie and has become an instant success. My hybrid was a bit of a treat and because it was TM and I am a label whore. Putter is still in the bag but needs to buck its ideas up. Heck I've even got a new bag.

If I can hit mine well enough then I'd think most players could hit them.

Some of the contents of my bag can chop & change, though generally from a list of kit I already own.

So Current Driver Had less than 12 months, but could swap with any in my stash for up to 3 - 4 years old

3wood, well my Yonex steelheaded MII has stayed in my bag since I bought it. Its one of those go to clubs & is 3 - 4 years old now

My Yonex cyberstar MII 5 wood is younger & purchased because I love the 3 wood one so much. Its 2 - 3 years old

Hybrids I have a 21 degree that is no-longer in the bag that has been there on & off for upto 4 years up until I bought my 18 degree Ping less than 12 months ago

Irons, well my current Pings are a little less than 12 months old & replaced my Yonex C280 irons that I was perfectly happy with that had been in the bag for at least a couple of years. & I have my Lynx CST-1 irons that are another 12 months older. Now although I generally don't chop & change between irons I could envisage an instance where if I flew somewhere I wouldn't take my Pings & might instead take the Lynx or Yonex, or if I was visiting a particularly rough area & was playing golf I'm not going to leave my Pride & joys in the bag.

Wedges, well Normally my Irons have a sand wedge, but these Pings I decided to only go upto Wedge, so I took the celephane off my 56 degree Titleist Vokey less than 12 months ago, but I'd had it sitting for about 2 years doing nothing, so that is about 3 years old.

Older than the sand wedge by a few months is my Titleist Vokey 60 degree lob (3-4 years), which replaced my Hippo Lob wedges one of which I still have a rather nice forged 64 degree. The 60 degree Vokey is not half as good as it was, its grooves have almost been smoothed & scared over by use. Esentially its been replaced by my MD wedge, which I love. But for general play especially out of some local bunkers & courses the battered Vokey is the goto club, simply because it is worn out & I can fairly much treat it as I want. In other words I'm not afraid to take risky & potentially damaging (to it) shots than I care to mention. Eventually there will come a day when the MD NV Drew will have enough battle damage to be counted as the goto wedge permanantly. Its certainly impressedme with its performance. Weighting & ballance marginally different to the Vokey, though sufficiently different in feel to need a couple of aclimatisation shots when changing from one to the other.

Putter, well the Yes Putter has been in the bag over 3 years now & no matter how many other putters I try or buy I keep coming back to the Yes Putter. If I had one gripe, its that I wish it was a fraction heavier. Its certainly an old faithful. And another goto club.

Bag... Well, many will know of my love for the Bennington bag I use. I've certainly had my monies worth out of it. To the extent that the bottom front (ball)pocket is showing signs of sun scorching where the black matterial that is still black over the rest of the bag has sort of faded to a black/purple colour on that bottom ballpocket. Odd, as it looks like the same material as the rest of the bag. That quiet system works well & makes club selection a dream, whether on the trolley or even when I decide to carry it tourstyle.

Standbag, well I've got a couple I can use. But the better one is the Yonex, though I wished they'd used a nicer strap system, as the padding could be better. When I use the Yonex bag it does put me in a good frame of mind, as I have fond memories of late Summer 07 when I won the works society by a large margine over most of the field at the Ramada Gloucester. closest chalenger was 4 points behind & our resident scratch player. I'd like a better bag than the Yonex that is just coming upto about 2 years old now. Perhaps Ping one. But with so many nice memories it'd be hard to let the Yonex one go.

Shoes... Well I have numerous ones to choose from so I could have ticked most of the boxes for age. I do keep going back to a black pair of Footjoy Contours that I've had for ages. They are like slippers for me. They were great when I first put them on, but even more so now. I've got other pairs of Footjoys all as comfortable as when I first wore the contours. Have still got some HiTec's from when I first started playing. Not half as nice really as the Footjoys. I've a nice Adidas pair that are just starting to become really comfortable after a few wears. A Nike pair which still need a little wearing in. I must have 6 or 7 pairs of golf shoes by now. And if I saw a pair I liked tomorrow then I'd get them.
