Short answer - mostly 6 months or less. Irons almost a year.
But I don't expect to be changing much between now and next spring.

Us lot are a marketing mans dream!
All the gear and no idea!

I have been splurging on golf gear again of late! :o

Everything is at least 2-3 years old except my shoes (won them last year) and my wedge which i was forced into buying as my other one was nicked

Mostly 6 months or 1 year, but since Ive only been playing for less than a year, thats not too surprising! Do have a couple of bits older than that which I picked up in advance of starting.

Most of my stuff is over 5 years from when I was playing before, but now that I'm back in the swing, A new bag for Christmas, a new pair of shoes and courtesy of Thommo a new to me driver.

Irons and wedges to follow when I make up mind, and somebody to putt for me.

Then I should be done (for a While)

I'm sticking with the stuff I like...

7 year old Ping i3 irons....5 year old ping i3 3 & 5 woods
15? year old Ping Anser.

I'm also accumulating new stuff that I intend to keep for a while.....in the last year I've aquired a new Ping Pioneer Cart bag, a Motocaddy s3 and a Vokey wedge.

My philosophy has always been buy the best, look after it and it'll last for ever.

Only started playing again last September and have just finished renewing my kit. I've only kept my 2 bags and my putter , everything else is new. I dont use a waterproof jacket , cant get on with them.

I also have trouble staying faithful to my gear. MD Driver and Hybrid are only a couple of months old, Adams 3 wood is about a year old, MD Wedge is about 8 months old, putter was bought at Christmas and the irons came courtesy of GM about 6 months ago.

Even with kit that new my eyes are being drawn by some of the new shiny irons.

If anyone fitted the 'all the gear and no idea' image it is me.

Most of my kit is pretty new, the only things I want to change is the wedges into one type rather than many, though I am tinkering with buying 18* dws in the sales

GB72.
You obviously have enough gear and spare money.
Now, what I suggest is that you invest in a set of S57s, G10 woods and driver a couple of Vokeys, a pair of FJ reelfits and a hoofer bag. If you dont like them, I know someone who will, in exchange for a few lessons ;)

Only thing over a year is my Irons must be near 4 year old now but not changing them till they are broke.

Just put a curse on them now haven't I.

Only my third round yesterday with all my new kit. Really impressed with it all. Just needed a wee cheering up and thought some nice shiny new kit and clothes would be the perfect tonic. The new titleist spin milled wedges are an absolute dream, Hit the pin yesterday from 70 yards and knocked another 3 to within a foot. (unfortunately i shanked 3 balls on my way to a 6 over par round).
