Played on saturday in our clubs monthly medal, conditions not great, rain for the first few holes then wind started picking up.
Anyways long story short ended up shooting a gross 78 nett 68, very happy, checked clubs website today and I won division 1 by 3 clear shots but came third overall in medal,
standard scratch was 71 and I have been cut 0.6 to 9.5, so the realistic target of this year to get to single figures is surely just round the corner. May have to review it shortly.
Also found out the other day that my society handicap has been cut to 0 not 1 as I first thought.

Tincup: Well done on winning the division - good scoring. And if I understand things, don't you just need another cut of 0.1 to get under 9.5 and you are a single figure player?
