I received the new Scotty California Monterey yesterday, with the new sea mist finish.
I was really worried that once I saw pics on the new studio line, that I would regret getting the Monterey because I loved the looked of the old studio line.
But I'm so happy with my choice. The new Studios look like my old Ping Anser 2. Not there's anything wrong with that, it's a nice looking putter and works well. But it doesn't have the same individual look imo.

I've never been a Scotty Cameron fan and think the Ping milled Anser series look much better. I am tempted by the new Odyssey milled putters due out later in the year but just think SC are over-priced

I agree that they are overpriced, I don't think anyone would disagree with that.
But....if you love them, you love them and you'll pay the extra money for the 'wow' factor. And I don't mean that everyone else thinks 'wow', I mean that as long as I think 'wow' then it's worth the extra money.
I bought my new Monterey online for £200 brand new - RRP is £280. Which isn't that much more than some of the other putters out there.
