Hi Duncan - thanks again for the offer of selling me the shafts. In the end, I decided to buy a second hand set of srixon z565s on eBay. £234 delivered seemed like a bargain - but we'll see when they arrive!

Sounds an excellent choice and, if you Werner planning on restarting yourself, a sensible one as well.
I took the opportunity to clean them all up so may put them in the for sale section (or just put them in a corner again....)
