I snapped the shaft of my Ping K15 driver yesterday on the first tee shaking the dew from it !!
I've tried a few drivers over the years but not hit any better than my trusty K15.
Is it a DIY job of removing the old shaft and glueing in another assuming I can get a replacement from Ping ?
How is the old shaft removed ? Heat ??

Standard shaft pull then very easy. But you need the kit to do it, pro would take 5 mins to get it out.
As for shaft try Ping or one similar, yes it's a glue in job with the correct ferrule, need the correct tip size, again 5 min job for your pro.

I looked into upgrading my shaft and after calcualting the costs etc it's sometimes better to just get a new club.
