Snainton Golf

I ordered a new waterproof jacket from Snainton Golf on Friday. It was a last years model and as such significantly reduced in price.

Later on on Friday night I got an email from them saying that they had made a mistake and couldn't supply the jacket as they no longer have any left in stock. As such they offered me this years latest all singing, all dancing replacement for a £10 upcharge which is a bargain in my eyes. I phoned them and made an enquiry into the cost of the matching trousers and they even discounted them (£5) due to their mistake.

Well chuffed with my new heavily discounted 2012 model ProQuip TourFlex 360 suit.

Snainton Golf seems to have one the best reputations amongst retailers. I have never heard a bad thing said about them. I might have to just pop onto their website and have a mooch round.

thats a result, the 360 model is far better looking.

Pretty happy with Snainton, just one blip where they failed to deliver for a birthday, despite saying it was despatched they admitted a week later they hadn't sent it, it arrived another 3 days later. Sometimes its worth a phone call to confirm everything

Ordered their end of line one that they were actually sold out of so let me pay £10 for that years model

Not surprised to hear this I use them quite a lot and subscribe to their newsletter - which I would all recommend...
Main reason is that they do a monthly draw and last month I won a pair of Footjoy Sports :clap::clap:

Whilst chatting with the guy about it and sorting sizes I mentioned that I had missed out on ordering some more balls in a recent offer, they had the Bridgestone B330 RXS at 2 dozen for £40, he said hold on, then came back and said I have 6 dozen left you can have them for £120!!

I use the shop in Hull, and have been up to their shop in Snainton outside Scarborough. Service is always great and always happy to do a deal. Wish there was a few more like them.

Sounds excellent service. I had some issues with Golf Support when I ordered an R11 cart bag. Turns out they were getting mucked about royally by TM (no surprise) but they were fantastic at keeping me updated and threw in a dozen TM balls as an apology.

There are clearly those that know how to look after customers and others (118 golf, AG etc) that haven't a clue. I've never really looked at Snaiton in any detail but may have to mooch over there later
