Just back from the practice area where I hit 85 balls, 15 wedges too warm up, 45 six irons, 10 four irons and another 15 wedges to finish.

Beautiful day, sun on my back which always makes the swing feel that bit looser and hitting off turf. Perfect.

Very happy with the results, working hard to eliminate my lazy "hip slide" through impact and concentrated on "snapping" my left hip back through impact and getting the weight through properly. Apart from a handful of snap hooks which was just poor timing I left the practice ground very happy with the progress. The ball was going well!

Sun forecast for Friday, Saturday & Sunday, happy (golfing) days.

:fore:

I'm stuck in the office :(

Taking Monday off though, hopefully I can play Saturday, have a lesson and practice on Sunday and play again on Monday.

Bet it rains or my back goes out ;)

Nice here today, but forecast is frosty over the weekend, so back on the temporary greens.

Think I'll stay in the indoor practice nets.

8.53 tee-off for me for the first stableford of the year on Saturday.

Forecast is for 4C, sunny, and hardly a breath of wind.

Bobble hat, mittens, long johns and hip flask.... can't wait.*

In contrast to craw, I'm trying to increase hip slide, but then I use the devil's swing. :ears:

*other attire will also be worn.

was stuck under a floor for 4 hours, i felt like a gremlin when i went outside. bright lights bright lights. lovely day in ayrshire now time for a guinness, get in!!!

I'm out tomorrow in the winter league at 11.27. Any frost should be gone by then. There is a 27 h/capper in our group so i'll make sure i have an extra large mug of patience before i leave.

Playing at a local course for the 1st time on Saturday with a mate of mine who's a member - Weather looks sunny (but cold). Looking forward to it immensely! Hope I can swing the club like I have been doing at the range.
