Slow Play

I was watching the PGA yesterday and Ross Fisher spent about a minute trying to wave a greenfly off his ball on the fairway.

Now, bearing in mind that he was about to swing at 100mph and the ball was about to hit 150 odd mph, was that greenfly going to make the slightest difference to his shot?

No wonder they take 5 hours+ to go round. Utterly ridiculous.

Completely unnecessary, and speaking of slow play, today I stood and waited 2 minutes for the old man in the group in front to pick his ball up out of the hole.

I know its annoying waiting for these old guys but have to try and think what will we be like at there age,that's if we get that old!
