Lol at the first video, Couldnt you have taken relief from the washing line? haha would have saved the agro.
For what its worth, Ive found practice swings dont quite go like the real thing. Bob will be along shortly to sort you though :)

Richie, no expert but some of the driver swings in these videos are very nice, smooth with good tempo and a nice finishing position nice and upright and balanced

Swing looking better now. Improvement observations:

1. Backswing still too quick.
2. Downswing is steeper plane than upswing, a bit over the top: slicey.
3. Bottom half of body isnt contributing much... Look on slo-mo swing you see on downswing that hips and shoulders are at same angle. At impact, position looks identical to address....not ideal. At impact, need to see hips open, shoulders slightly open and right heel off ground to show lag and good weight transfer. Try starting downswing by rotating left hip to get the uncoiling working....

As for the washing line... :D

"I fooking need that!!"
Lol!!

As has been said, you need to video your swing while you are actually hitting a ball..

Many's the time I have stood on the first tee, practice swinging with my driver, and my opponent (if he didn't know me) must have thought he was going to get hammered 8 & 7.
An hour later, and four holes up, he realised I'm a slightly bigger wanker than he is.

And that is one of THE funniest things I have read on here for ages. :D :D :D

Richie and Smiffy you fella's owe me a new keyboard, this ones full of coffee now! :D :D :D

Richie im a hacker but even i can see a massive improvement there mate, well done, i only wish i could improve that fast!

You need to get one up of you hitting balls now as Smiffy very funnily put it, you swing different when the ball is there, i always have a tendancy to do a lovely controlled practice swing but put a ball there and i wanna kill it! ;)

looks a nice finishing position with the driver , think most people have a good swing without the ball as theres nothing there to think about, as soon as theres a ball to hit thats when a good swing turns into a shocker, whats your mrs gonna do at the weekend now the washing lines knackered :D

Ah ye cool, we'll have to meet up for a game some time bud. I've got a weeks work in Milan next week thank god, i havent worked for months now! so i wont be able to play for atleast a week orso, will get in touch nearer the time when i can play if you fancy it. Just dont hit the washing lines on the 16th of EP course mate as theyre Pylon lines! ;)

Grip...dont even go there :( i know my grip is terribad but when i tried a "proper" grip it feels ace to swing as it breaks my wrists for me but i slice it backwards lol. Keep going with the grip though as i know i will have to at some stage and i will go miles backwards having just gone from 28 to like 19 handicap in the last 5 weeks, but hey sometimes you have to go backwards to go further forwards...if that makes sense?? :D

no expert but with my amateur eyes:

-looks like your coming over the top to me
-left foot comes off the ground a lot on the backswing. (Not sure if your foot coming off the ground can cause problems - bob is the expert around here.)
-hard to tell but right hand on club looks to be a little to much to the right on the club.
-your lower body seems to be playing catch up with the upper body on the downswing (it should lead the rest of the body).

some random links i quite liked:

Good luck - looks like a fairly good swing to me but like me I'm sure your bad shots are slices and pulls.
