I cant remember ever seeing anyone start the downswing with their shoulders.
So to recap, your fix is:-

  1. start the downswing with a little slide left
  2. hold the shoulders down the target line
  3. drop the right arm keeping elbow tucked in
  4. keep the wrists cocked keeping the angle (almost 90 degree) between club and arms
  5. snap the left heel down
  6. straighten the left leg
  7. clear the hip
  8. square the club face

I'm not surprised

Well yeah if you try to think about them all at the same time, well you just couldn't, but the points are all things which I've worked on individually over the past weeks to get them to become second nature. The thing I'm struggling with at the moment is keeping my right arm tucked in, but like the others with practice and determination I will get there.
